After the initial implementation of any of the systems that PSSI sells, we will be available for on-going support, questions, and systems improvement. We will meet with you at your request to help measure the success of the system against your goals and to discuss your satisfaction, your areas of concern, and ways in which the system might be enhanced or improved. Our goal is to be part of your system decision-making process and work with you as a true business partner.

PSSI prides ourselves on our support staff's wide-ranging capabilities. Our consultants are very familiar with all of the software products we sell and available to assist you during normal business hours, and after hours upon request.

 

Part of our method is to teach your staff to be self-sufficient in the day-to-day operations of your systems; you don't want them calling us every day to get answers to simple questions or help with minor operating difficulties. But when real questions and problems do arise, there are two ways to solve them: spend hours of your time trying to solve the problem, or call the experts to resolve it for you. We will frequently be able to answer in minutes the questions that could take hours of your staff time to solve. If we do not readily have the answers, we have direct "hot-lines" to the software publishers so we can obtain the answers for you.

 

Over time, as you become self-sufficient, the need for external support will be minimized. However, external support requirements will never completely disappear. Our software publishing partners upgrade their software periodically, adding new features and eliminating minor errors in the code. We recommend that our clients invest in and install the most current release of the software. The upgrades and Software Maintenance Agreements enhance the performance of the system, eliminate problems and minimize total support costs. The investment in software upgrades should be considered another cost of doing business. To cut back on ongoing support and enhancements is a false economy which will cost more in the long run than you would save short term.
