• The finite scheduler handles forward or backward scheduling to the nearest minute or hour and runs extremely fast.
• The MRP report supports both "bucketed" and "bucketless" planning and can be synchronized with the finite scheduler to provide JIT material planning.
• A work order can be released, materials issued, standard labor posted, finished goods placed in inventory, and the order closed with a single button.

ALERE Manufacturing includes all the functionality that you would expect in a sophisticated manufacturing package. What you might not expect are the carefully designed "extras" that make ALERE Manufacturing work in your business.For example, the material list on a work order can be edited to add new components, change quantities, delete unneeded items, all the while keeping the inventory allocations up to date.

 

TIW's continuous committment to providing the most comprehensive information systems with the simplicity and ease of use that has been inherent in the systems since their inception, produces frequent updates. The most recent ALERE MAnufacturing, Version 9.2 includes:

• A completely new Work Order ID Tab uses Treevision technology to provide a color-coded approach to displaying and filtering ID data!
• The finite scheduler's range has been increased almost three fold to 999 days in the future.
• Bills of material can be easily exported or imported using Excel.
• Work in process and variance postings can be distributed by product class to help you better track costs in general ledger.
• A long asked for, but complex features, is the ability to reverse finished good postings made by a work order.
• Serialized items can be issued to a job for rework before returning them to inventory. An invaluable feature for companies that overhaul products requiring traceability.
• Besides being able to print a work order and a pick list, you can now print an MRP report for the order.
